1. Who we are and scope

These terms apply to your use of the Quitbloom iOS and Android apps and quitbloom.com. The service is provided by Görkem Karadoğan as an individual developer (Tatlısu Mah. Şehit Burak Kurtuluş Cad. Meritlife Gölkonakları A10 No: 8, Ümraniye/Istanbul, Türkiye). "We" in these terms means him. Contact: privacy@quitbloom.com.

By using the app you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, don't use the app. How your personal data is handled is explained in the privacy policy and the KVKK privacy notice.

2. The service

Quitbloom helps you quit smoking, heated tobacco and vaping, and stay quit. It shows your smoke-free time and savings, prepares a quit plan, offers SOS tools for hard moments, lets you talk to an AI-assisted coach (Breath) and, if you like, lets you add someone close to you as a supporter. Features may change over time.

3. Not medical advice

• Quitbloom is a support app. It is not a medical device, treatment or diagnostic tool.
• The app never recommends medication, nicotine products or doses. Ask a doctor or pharmacist about these.
• Health cards contain general information with their sources shown on the card. They are not specific to you.
• If you feel unwell while quitting, are pregnant or have a health condition, talk to a health professional.
• We don't guarantee that you will quit. Results vary from person to person.

4. Crisis and emergencies

Quitbloom is not a crisis or emergency service. If there is a risk of harm to yourself or others, or you have an urgent health problem, call your local emergency number straight away (112 in Turkey and the EU).

The app's crisis screen shows emergency numbers and free helplines for your country. We compile them from official sources and check them regularly, but numbers can change. In an emergency, rely on official local information.

5. AI coach

• Breath's coach replies and your personal plan are generated by AI. It is not a person and can make mistakes. Don't base important decisions only on these replies.
• AI features only work if you give the explicit consent described in the privacy policy. Without consent, your plan is prepared on your device.
• Coach use is limited by daily energy (5 a day in the free version). We apply rate and budget limits to protect the service. When a limit is reached, the coach may switch to prepared fallback replies.
• Don't use the coach for unlawful, harmful or abusive purposes.

6. Breath's voice

The app's fixed voice lines were recorded in advance with a synthetic voice designed with AI. If you turn on read-aloud for coach replies, they are voiced through a voice provider. The voice does not belong to a real person. If the voice service is unavailable, the app may use your device's own voice.

7. Your account

• The app creates an anonymous account for you when you first open it. We don't ask for your name or email.
• You are responsible for the security of your device and account. If you lose your device and haven't linked your account to an Apple or Google account, you may not be able to access your data again.
• You can delete your account and data at any time: Delete account and data.

8. Paid packs

The app's core features are free. SOS tools are always free. If you like, you can buy one of two packs:

• 6-Month Freedom: premium features for 6 months from purchase. It never renews automatically; when it ends you return to the free version.
• Lifetime: premium features for a single payment, for as long as we offer the app.

• There is no subscription, no automatic renewal and no free trial. The free version works as the trial.
• Prices are shown for your country in the App Store or Google Play, including taxes. Apple or Google takes the payment and handles it under their own terms. We never see your card details.
• Refunds: refunds for in-app purchases go through the store's own process (reportaproblem.apple.com for Apple, a refund request in Google Play for Google). Because the purchase is made through the store, we can't refund it directly.
• Right of withdrawal: packs are digital content made available as soon as you buy them with your consent. To the extent consumer law allows, the right of withdrawal for such content ends once you agree to immediate performance. The stores' refund processes and your other statutory rights are not affected.
• You can use your pack on another device with the same Apple or Google account via "Restore purchases".
• We may change premium content and prices in future. Such changes won't retroactively remove the core premium features we provide to you during the term of a pack you bought.

9. Supporter mode

• You can invite up to 3 people as supporters. Each invite link works for 7 days and for one person only.
• Your supporter only sees your total smoke-free days, your milestones and, if you choose, a "hard moment" signal. They never see your slips, your log or your health information.
• Supporters can only send the app's ready-made cheer cards. There are no free-text messages.
• Only share an invite link with people you know and whose support you want. Don't distribute links in bulk or send them to people who didn't ask.
• Don't use invite or supporter names that impersonate others, are offensive or unlawful.
• Either side can remove the link at any time. We may remove invites and links that break these rules.

10. Acceptable use

When using the app, you agree not to:

• use the app for an unlawful purpose or in a way that harms others,
• try to get around energy, rate or payment limits, or abuse the AI features with automated tools,
• try to break the app's security or access another user's data,
• copy, reverse engineer or resell the app, except where the law expressly allows it.

If you break these rules, we may restrict or stop your use of the account.

11. Intellectual property

The app, the Breath character, texts, voices and designs belong to us or are licensed to us. We give you a non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes in line with these terms.

12. Age limit

Quitbloom is for people aged 18 and over. If you are under 18, don't use the app. If we learn that someone under 18 is using the app, we will delete the related data.

13. Changes to the service and interruptions

To improve the app we may add, change or remove features. We can't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. SOS tools are designed to work without an internet connection. If we shut down the app entirely, we will announce it in the app at least 30 days in advance.

14. Liability

We build the app with care, but to the extent permitted by law we are not liable for indirect damage arising from using it. This limitation doesn't restrict our liability for intent or gross negligence, for injury to life or health, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

15. App stores

If you downloaded the app from the App Store, Apple's Standard License Agreement (Standard EULA) applies; these terms supplement it, and if they conflict, Apple's agreement governs your use of the app. We, not Apple, are the party to these terms. We, not Apple, are responsible for maintaining and supporting the app and for claims relating to it. If the app fails to meet a warranty, you can notify Apple, and Apple will refund the price you paid where applicable. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. If you downloaded the app from Google Play, Google Play's terms also apply.

16. Ending use

You can stop using the app and delete your account and data at any time. Deleting your account doesn't delete the store's record of a pack you bought. If you seriously break these terms, we may close your account.

17. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will announce important changes in the app before they take effect. If you keep using the app after a change, you accept the updated terms.

18. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Türkiye. If you are a consumer in Türkiye, you can apply to consumer arbitration committees or consumer courts within the statutory limits. If you are a consumer living in the European Union, the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence and your right to go to the courts there are not affected.
